Can you believe it? The 100th day of school is already here! My favorite part of this “holiday” has to be the cute/inventive 100 day projects that the younger grades create.
This year my daughter is in Kindergarten and I received some hands-on experience. I was not sure after 3 days of debating if she would ever decide on a project idea.
Idea #1 100 shopkins – Yes, my daughter probably has over 100 shopkins, but she decided against this because she had just used them during her time with the “Estimation Jar”.
Idea #2 100 candy bars – This was encouraged by her father, but shot down by me when I figured up how much that would cost and that he would not get to eat any of them.
Idea #3 100 stickers – This is the idea that we finalized on and headed to Hobby Lobby (I love that place) to grab some cute stickers for the poster.
But as you know things never go as planned. While we were there she found some paper flowers and changed her mind to 100 flowers (the small cheap kind). Next, the letters E and A were put in the cart for the flowers to be hot glued on and we headed home with Idea #4 100 flowers.
After 4 days and a ton of hot glue her project was complete and looked pretty good, if I do say so myself.
There were so many cute projects this year from her class! Here are just a few:
100 Cotton Balls
100 PomPoms (Ice Cream Sprinkles)
